Donald Trump, the former president, sees the President of the United States, Joe Biden, as a "threat to democracy."
Biden previously warned everyone, Trump, alongside "MAGA Republicans," is a danger to the democracy in the country. And this time, the ex-president says the same to his successor amid the reelection bid of the current POTUS.
Donald Trump: President Biden is a 'Threat to Democracy'
As per a report by USA Today, Trump addressed the crowd in Manchester, New Hampshire, giving remarks that attacked President Joe Biden, which he could potentially face once again in the 2024 US presidential elections.
The former president spoke about his reelection bid, saying he intends to win New Hampshire again "for the third straight time." The visit of Trump comes shortly after Biden formally confirmed that he plans to take on his second term in the White House.
Trump has also expressed his eagerness to run for the highest position in the US federal government once again.
The ex-POTUS took the chance to respond to the reelection bid of Biden following the announcement of the President. Trump told the New Hampshire crowd, "We are going to crush Joe Biden in the ballot box." On top of that, he assures everyone that Biden and him, who were rivals in the 2020 presidential elections, will also settle their "unfinished business."
CNBC reports that Biden previously warned Americans that Trump and the "MAGA Republicans" pose a danger to the democracy of the US last September 2022. He also made such remarks when he ran for the presidency in the 2020 polls, wherein he won against the Republican bet.
However, Trump hits back, accusing Biden of a "threat" to democracy as well. The former president argues that the "gross incompetence" of the current US leader endangers the democracy of the country. He also claimed that Biden does not know what he is doing, saying that "basically he [does not] have a clue."
Trumps Warns of 'Anarchy' if Biden Wins for Presidential Reelection
Besides touting Biden as a "threat to democracy," Trump further warned against the reelection of the current President.
Channel News Asia reports that Trump told his supporters in New Hampshire that the victory of Biden might trigger "anarchy" in the country. He also suggests that voting for his potential rival in the 2024 elections leads to "catastrophe," "failure," and "conflict."
In fact, the former POTUS also told the New Hampshire crowd that we are now "living in a catastrophe."
The 80-year-old politician, Biden, has confirmed that he plans to pursue his second term in 2024. Meanwhile, the 76-year-old entrepreneur, Trump, wants to make a comeback in the White House as he seeks to run in the next elections.
