A woman's body that fell into a lift shaft at Kualanamu Airport was found on Apr. 27, three days after the incident. According to the CCTV footage, it was likely to be the body of Ms. Aisiah Santa Dewi Hasibuan. In fact, the video is circulating on social media, yet it's unknown how it was uploaded to the internet.

The video shows the woman walking into the double-sided lift through the doors on the right at past 8:00 pm on Apr. 24, according to The Straits Times.

She then faced the doors, unaware that the doors behind had opened seconds earlier. In the video, the woman appeared to press the buttons in the lift before she made a call on her phone. She touched the doors she entered from and then opened slightly. She took a step forward and plunged into the depths of the lift shaft.

According to reports, Ms. Aisiah was accompanying her niece to the airport at the time, and she had called her niece to tell him she was trapped inside the lift. After losing contact with her, the family members asked airport security to help look for her.

The family also asked to view the CCTV footage of the lift but added that the airport security showed them CCTV footage of other areas instead of the lift's interior.

It is reported that the CCTV footage of the side of the lift was only released after the victim's body was discovered instead of when the family requested it.

Additionally, the victim could not have forced the lift doors open because she held her mobile phone in her dominant hand when the incident happened.
