According to new reports, Khloe Kardashian only eats 400 calories a day in order to maintain her slim frame. According to Heat magazine (via Radar Online), the reality TV star has her family and friends worried because of her unhealthy eating habits.
"Khloe's doing morning fasting and doesn't eat a single thing until around 2pm," a source told Heat.
"She only has a small piece of chicken or a can of tuna and steamed veggies for lunch, snacking on celery until dinner when she has a protein shake and more veggies," the source continued. "Everyone in her life is begging her to eat more, but Khloe is refusing."
The source went on to say that "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star is in a very fragile place right now following her split from Lamar Odom.
Kardashian has definitely been showing off a smaller waistline recently and often uses social media to document her intense workout sessions but in an interview with Life & Style last year, she said she was taking her weight loss journey slowly.
"Everything in moderation," she said adding that she had lost 25 pounds at the time. "Right now, I try to go on a hike or something. I work out at least four to five times a week. At least I try."
"I tried to cut out a lot of sweets. I'm just changing my diet slowly," she continued. "If I do too much too soon... I know I'll go back and binge eat... and cry. [Staying in shape] is always going to be a lifelong thing for me."
She also spoke to Cosmopolitan UK about her tinier physique saying "I don't care about what size I am, I care about how I look."
"I don't expect to be a size 2 and nor do I want to be. I'm 5 feet, 10 inches and I like being curvy, but I also like being toned," Kardashian added. " I have to do whatever is good for me... I feel that I'm healthier [now]."
