In a heartbreaking turn of events, the trot singer, HAESOO, has tragically passed away at 29 years old, according to a report by Koreaboo.
HAESOO was reportedly about to perform at an event during Gwanjumyeon People's Day in Wanju Gun, Jeollabuk-do, on May 20. However, the promising K-pop star faced her untimely death, leaving fans devastated.
Koreaboo notes that YTN has confirmed that the K-Pop star is skipping the festivities slated on May 20 due to her untimely death.
As per Pinkvilla, the police reported on May 13 that they found a female trot singer in her 30s dead in her hotel room last May 12. But during that time, the report from the authorities failed to disclose the woman's identity. Despite that, some speculated that it was HAESOO based on the description of the law enforcement.
Upon stumbling on the dead body in her accommodation, the police say they also unearthed a suicide letter reportedly penned by the trot singer. Besides that, the police ruled out any foul play upon inspecting the scene. It is worth noting that the authorities have not officially confirmed her cause of death.
With the announcement from YTN, fans, and news outlets corroborate that the personality in the initial police report is none other than HAESO.
