A number of deals reportedly were made leading up to the NBA trade deadline. Denver Nuggets guard Andre Miller, Milwaukee Bucks guards Gary Neal and Luke Ridnour and Philadelphia 76ers center Spencer Hawes were among the players traded so far on Thursday.
Miller is headed to the Washington Wizards. The veteran was part of a three-team trade between the Philadelphia 76ers, Denver and Washington. Denver will receive Jan Vesely and Eric Maynor from Washington, and Philadelphia will receive two second-round draft picks, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.
Neal and Ridnour, meanwhile, were traded to the Charlotte Bobcats. Milwaukee picked up Ramon Sessions and Jeff Adrien from Charlotte, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Although Charlotte was targeting only Neal, Milwaukee was able to convince them to take on Ridnour's remaining salary as well.
The Cleveland Cavaliers completed a trade for Hawes Thursday morning. Philadelphia netted two second-round draft picks, forward Earl Clark and center Henry Sims - the latter two were included for salary purposes, according to Yahoo Sports.
Denver also reportedly made a trade on Thursday with the Houston Rockets. The Nuggets picked up guard Aaron Brooks from the Rockets in exchange for guard Jordan Hamilton, Adrian Wajnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported.
Teams have until 3:00 p.m. ET on Thursday to complete all trades. Players being mentioned in potential trades before the deadline include Cleveland Cavaliers forward Luol Deng and New Orleans Pelicans D-Leaguer Pierre Jackson.
