UFC Fans Concerned About Conor McGregor’s Health, Wellbeing

Fans Observed “The Notorious” Struggling to Construct Proper Sentences

UFC fans expressed concern for Conor McGregor's health after a clip of him being interviewed by Canadian journalist Ariel Helwani surfaced.

In a video clip uploaded on Reddit, McGregor seemed to be struggling to form coherent sentences.

The reason for the concern over the 34-year-old's health was that he would have an upcoming fight against Michael Chandler at an undisclosed date.

McGregor broke his leg after fighting Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. The Irishman was also previously involved in an accident in Dublin earlier this year after he was hit by a car while riding a bicycle.

However, he was seen cycling the streets of the Irish capital and taking a swim on its beach last week.

True Geordie: McGregor has a problem

A video creator named Brian Davis - who goes by the name True Geordie on YouTube - made an 11-minute video expressing his concern for the wellbeing of "The Notorious."

In a video for his YouTube channel, The Pain Game, Davis stated McGregor's struggle to speak properly was "worrying" and "bizarre" and that he has a "problem."

"If there's one thing about Conor McGregor that we've always known him to be, it's [that he was] a fantastic speaker," he said.

Davis's YouTube audience in the video's comment section was also quick to express their worry for the Irishman.

One comment observed McGregor to be struggling in his personal life despite having a successful career.

"In the octagon, he is ice cold under pressure; but it seems like outside of it, the pressure of fame and wealth are bringing him down," the comment read. "He isn't the first to struggle with such things, and he certainly won't be the last."

Another comment alluded to McGregor's struggle with alcohol consumption and abuse. "[He] clearly has a drinking problem," it said. "We've seen that for years, and the fact he is saying it's torture, not drinking that pint, is worrying."
