In October, Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian in an elaborate affair complete with a 50-orchestra band, fireworks and "Please Marry Meeee" flashing across the jumbo tron at AT&T Park Stadium. The whole thing was very extravagant and lovely but was it all staged?
According to a report by Radar Online, Kardashian and West may have faked the proposal for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." The scene where the rapper dropped to one knee aired Sunday, Feb. 17 but viewers claim to have spotted the reality star sporting the giant ring in an episode that aired on Feb. 9.
The episode, titled "A Surprise Engagement Pt. 1," was supposed to lead into the actual proposal. On the episode Kardashian is seen with her sisters as she folds North West's clothes. Sitting on her ring is a massive diamond sparkler that bares a close resemblance to the one West designed for her.

The mishap led many to believe that Kardashian might have already been engaged before the big proposal. Or it could have been a bad editing job.
Whether it was staged or not, the couple is currently planning their summer wedding in Paris. According to the numerous reports and rumors, the ceremony is going to be as magnificent as the engagement. There are rumors that West is planning the entire wedding himself and has decided that he wants both of them to wear matching crowns when they say "I do."
"Kim and Kanye will be in handcrafted headpieces he commissioned for them... He thinks he and Kim and royalty," a source told US Weekly (via the Daily Mail).
