Johnny Depp's Ankle Injury Forces Rescheduling of Hollywood Vampires' US Tour

The Hollywood Vampires, a well-known supergroup including Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, and Johnny Depp, decided to put off three of their scheduled North American tour dates.

The band has postponed their May 30-May 31 and June 1 gigs in Manchester, NH, Boston, and Bethel, NY, till late July, according to Deadline.

The Hollywood Vampires posted on social media their regret about postponing their three US tour dates. They explained that the move was due to Johnny Depp's ankle injury, which came after his recent performances, prompted the adjustment.

The circumstances are terrible for the Pirates of the Caribbean actor because his doctor strongly advised against traveling. Johnny Depp is confident about recovering and allowed all four band members, including guitarist and bassist Tommy Henriksen, to perform at their finest during the European part of the Hollywood Vampires tour.

Johnny Depp updated the rescheduled dates, announcing that the Hollywood Vampires would play in Boston on July 28, New Hampshire the next day, and New York on July 30, per Metro.

Johnny Depp's dismay is evident, said a reliable source, adding that, after two exhausting days of press appearances in Cannes, Johnny immediately traveled to London for rehearsals and later participated in two tribute shows dedicated to the memory of his dear friend, the late great Jeff Beck.

The insider noted that Johnny Depp's injured ankle was already causing discomfort during the Cannes events, and unfortunately, it "progressively worsened." Despite his condition, the renowned actor fulfilled his 'Jeanne du Barry' obligations and honored his late great musician friend, TMZ reported.

The 59-year-old actor plans to emphasize rest and rehabilitation to ensure a faultless European tour, slated to begin in June, taking into account medical advice advising against plane travel, per the insider.

Depp has been emphasizing rest and a clean diet throughout his comeback journey, and this move shows his dedication to his health.
