Elon Musk just announced a new Twitter feature that will greatly benefit content creators. But, will this new enhancement lead to privacy concerns?
On Wednesday, June 7, the tech executive said that Twitter will receive an enhancement that will allow content creators to see their subscribers' email addresses.
"This platform will provide email addresses of subscribers (who opt-in) to content creators," said Elon via his official Twitter post.
His post generated over 17 million views, 160,000 likes, and 14,000 retweets.

According to NDTV's latest report, the new Twitter enhancement will disclose the email addresses of subscribers to content creators.
This latest social media effort was announced days after Elon Musk was replaced by ex-NBC Universal advertising chief, Linda Yaccarino, as the new Twitter CEO.
For those who are not familiar with Yaccarino, she was the key figure in modernizing NBCUniversal's advertising business. But, Elon didn't confirm if the new Twitter feature was the idea of Yaccarino.
What Twitter Users Think
The new Twitter feature is specifically designed to help content creators reach out to their fans even outside the social media platform.
Because of this, many Twitter fans appreciated the effort of the billionaire. One of them said that the online platform's initiative to help content creators get emails from subscribers is a great thing.
The Twitter user added that this makes it easier for Twitter content creators to take their followers with them in case they decide to leave the website.
