As per USA Today, the President dismissed the House Republican accusation that he was involved in a multi-million dollar bribery scheme as "malarkey."

The accusation was made in a report by the House Oversight Committee, led by Rep. James Comer, R-Ky. The unverified document alleged that Biden used his position as vice president to pressure Ukrainian officials to fire a prosecutor investigating his son, Hunter Biden.

Biden has denied any wrongdoing, leading Democrats to criticize the accusations as a politically motivated attack.

"It's a bunch of malarkey," Biden said when asked about the report at a news conference with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. He asked the press, "Where's the money?"

Meanwhile, Rep. Jamie Raskin, the top Democrat on the panel, says that these precise accusations have already been debunked in 2020. A previous investigation by the Justice Department during the administration of former President Donald Trump has cleared Biden of any wrongdoing.

TimeMagazine reports that the allegations by the Republicans, accusing Biden of criminal bribery come amid the decision of the Justice Department counsel Jack Smith to move forward with the investigation of former President Trump.

He is facing complaints which allege him of mishandling classified documents. The investigation is also looking into the accusation that the ex-POTUS obstructed federal officials from getting their hands on these documents.
