The B-2 Spirit stealth bomber was spotted flying over Miami. Footage of this high-subsonic jet was captured after the 5-month safety pause of the U.S. Air Force.
The video of B-2 in Miami was taken by independent journalist Joseph Levy (@miamiheaven). He was able to capture the magnificent footage during the Memorial Day Weekend at Miami Beach; when he was at the Miami Air and Sea Show event.
B-2 Spirit Spotted Flying Over Miami
According to The Drive's latest report, the B-2 subsonic stealth bomber was flying low over the Miami skyline.
Because of this, the flyby attracted many people during the Miami Air and Sea Show event.
The footage captured by Levy was already reposted by numerous social media accounts on Twitter and other platforms.
One of these is Twitter user @ilove_aviation; with Levy's B-2 video garnering over 6 million views and 33,000 likes.
The professional videographer said that he used his Sony FX3, which was mounted on a tripod, to take the footage.
Thanks to his skills, Joseph was able to keep the B-2 Spirit in frame, allowing people across the globe to see how the stealth bomber maneuvered elegantly over the Miami skyline.

B-2 Spirit in Operation Again
Recently, the U.S. Air Force decided to conduct a 5-month safety pause for the B-2 Spirit fleet.
This was implemented after one of the stealth bombers caught fire on a Missouri runway in 2022.
Luckily, the B-2 Spirit stealth bombers were able to get back in operation on May 22.
However, the U.S. Air Force didn't confirm the reason behind the B-2 accident in late 2022.
The defense agency also hasn't confirmed if a fix was made for its B-2 Spirit fleet.
But, since it was spotted flying over Miami Beach, it seems like the B-2 Spirit is already in good condition to fly again.
The flyby in Miami is considered to be one of the major events the high-subsonic aircraft bomber attended ever since the fleet was grounded.
