According to Korea Boo, local media company OSEN reports that the rising Korean actress figured in a tragic accident. Soo Ryun fell down while she was climbing the stairs in her house.

After she tumbled, doctors reportedly tried to revive her by resuscitating the 29-year-old. But despite these attempts, the doctors declared the actress brain-dead, confirming that she passed away.

The Korean website Chosun Biz reports that theater officials disclosed that the bereaved family of Soo Ryun decided to honor the young actress by donating her organs to other patients who are in need.

Her mother reportedly revealed that while her daughter's brain has stopped working, her heart is still up and running. And as such, the family agreed to donate her organs to extend a helping hand to other people.

Her death has been met with shock and sadness by her fans and colleagues. The funeral of Soo Ryun starts on June 12, Monday, at 4 PM local time until the morning of June 13, Tuesday.

Her career kicked off in 2018 when she joined the cast of the creative musical 'II Tenore,' which also starred Choi Jae-rim, Jeon Mi-do, Lee Sang-i, Lim Seon-ae, Maeng Won-tae, and Lee Mi-Joo.

Since then, the 29-year-old Korean actress graced other musicals in the country, such as "Siddhartha," which dramatizes the life of Buddha. She also appeared in other musicals like 'The Days We Loved' and 'Finding Mr. Destiny,' wherein she showcased her impressive talking on stage.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, the actress was supposed to perform on Jeju Island a day before the accident took her precious life. Her Instagram has roughly 6,000 followers, wherein she shares updates in her life and stunning photos of herself.

Apart from her appearance in numerous musicals, she was also part of the historical drama "Snowdrop" for her small role in the Korean TV series. She joined other giant names like BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Jung Hae-In, as well as Kim Mi-soo, Kim Min Kyu, Yoo In-Na, and Kim Hye-Yoon.

However, her promising career is devastatingly short-lived due to the unfortunate accident that took the life of the rising Korean star. Due to her untimely passing her stint in the 'Snowdrop' TV drama has resurfaced online as her fans pay tribute to Soo-Ryu.
