AI helped the Beatles to record their "final" song decades after the iconic band broke up, according to Paul McCartney.

McCartney confirmed that they use groundbreaking technology to relive the voice of the late John Lennon.

As per Associate Press, the iconic songwriter and bassist McCartney confirmed the Beatles would release their final song later this year. Surprisingly, it will feature the beloved vocals of the late John Lennon, recreated with - you guessed it - AI.

The news broke when the iconic bassist of the Fab Four spilled the beans in an interview with BBC Radio's Today Show. He said that the song was originally a demo that Lennon had recorded and that he could use AI to extract Lennon's vocals from the recording.

The songwriter confirmed that they used AI to "extricate" the voice of the sensational vocalist from old demos of the Beatles. He also shared that the AI-powered tech recognizes the voice or the instrument.

And as such, they use it to remove the guitar. McCartney discloses to BBC Radio that an AI tool successfully took John's voice from the old demos. He adds that it enabled them to "mix the record as you would do. It gives you some sort of leeway."

In an astonishing revelation, he confirmed they recently finished mixing their "final song," BBC reports.

It is much-awaited by their fans since it will be the first new Beatles material in over 50 years. It will be the first time Lennon's voice has been heard on a Beatles recording since he died in 1980 after his assassination.

Our friends from Tech Times report that the upcoming song, which uses AI, helped uniquely reunite the Far Found.

McCartney Says AI is 'Kind of Scary'

McCartney admits that the revolutionary AI tech is pretty frightening. He says it is "Kind of scary." However, the iconic songwriter finds it exciting too. With the rapid emergence of the new technology, he says, "We will just have to see where that leads."

It is worth noting that McCartney also used AI tech for his recent "I've Got a Feeling" performance at the Glastonbury Festival last year. He had a fantastic virtual duet with none other than Lennon.

McCartney says, "The final Beatles record" is seeing the light of day this year. The iconic bassist failed to disclose the title of the song.

But despite that, reports suggest that the last song of the Fab Four is likely to be the unreleased 1978 love song composed by Lennon entitled "Now and Then."
