Sri Lanka clinched the ODI series against Sri Lanka on Wednesday with a 61-run win. Kumar Sangakkara won the Man of the Match award for scoring a game-high 128 runs. Ashan Priyanjan and Angelo Mathews chipped in with 60 runs and 56 runs, respectively.
On the bowling front, Sri Lanka did a well-enough job restricting Sri Lanka's batsmen and took nine wickets. Lasith Malinga, Sachithra Senanayake, Thisara Perera and Ajantha Mendis each took two wickets apiece while Ashan Priyanjan took one.
Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim led Bangladesh with 79 runs, and Anamul Haque added 42 runs in the losing effort. Rubel Hossain took three of Bangladesh's six wickets.
Although the series is lost, Bangladesh is still playing for pride in hopes of avoiding being swept 3-0.
The third and final ODI of the series will take place at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Weather.com forecasts a partly cloudy day with no chance of rain; temperatures could reach as high as 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
