Hong Kong's tourism industry is still recovering from the effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of the government's efforts, some airline companies in Hong Kong decided to offer free airplane tickets.
Unfortunately, not everyone can enjoy these free flight tickets. The only people who can get them are those in Japan.

Hong Kong's Tourism Sector Still Recovering
It is estimated that the free airplane ticket campaign in Hong Kong will offer over 700,000 flight tickets to Japanese residents.
These free airline tickets, which are part of the country's "Hello Hong Kong" campaign, could further help the Asian country to recover its tourism industry.
Recently, Global Times reported that the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) confirmed that HKSAR (Hong Kong Special Administrative Region) visitors surpassed 10 million people during the first five months of 2023.
Because of this, HKTB expects Hong Kong to have over 26 million visitors before 2023 ends. If this really happens, then the country's tourism sector can finally recover.
