Cardiff residents awoke to a "feather boa massacre" after the first of two Harry Styles concerts in the city.
On Wednesday, the celebrity will perform again in front of 60,000 fans at the Principality Stadium. Locals can look forward to more vibrant performances.
Harry Styles Concert
During the first performance in Cardiff, Styles donned a Welsh flag and declared it a "pleasure" to be in Wales, as per BBC.
Some supporters camped outside the stadium for days beforehand. Harry Styles' fashion has become synonymous with extravagant attire, so fans frequently don vibrant colors and feather boas.
On Wednesday morning, a Cardiff resident described the feathers in the city center as a "feather boa massacre" on Twitter.
According to Cardiff Council, the feathers will be sent to an energy waste facility to help produce renewable energy and additional recycling.
Elliot and Sian, who had tossed him a cup with "name our baby" written on it, were also singled out by Styles.
The former member of One Direction then halted the performance so expectant Sian could use the restroom. When she returned, he asked the audience to applaud for their preferred name among Stevie, Harley, Rafe, and Caleb; the loudest ovation was for Stevie.
Harry Styles Smacked by Bunch of Flowers
Moreover, Harry Styles was hit in the face with a bouquet of flowers during his Tuesday night concert in Cardiff.
The 29-year-old pop star had just completed his penultimate UK concert at Cardiff's Principality Stadium as part of his sold-out Love On Tour when an admirer threw a bouquet into the air.
As he jumped down some stairs and turned to the audience to embrace them during his lap of honor, he was showered in pink flowers. According to Daily Mail, Harry Styles was understandably shaken by the incident, which was caught on camera by a fan in the audience.
'The Adore You' hitmaker was observed massaging his face in astonishment after being struck, but as a true professional, he continued on. The incident occurred years after Harry Styles fans were warned against bringing Kiwis to his concerts after he dropped one while performing his 2017 single of the same name.
Harry Styles confessed that he has never been directly pelted by the fruit in question during the song as he opened up about his misstep at the Hammersmith Apollo, which caused him to grasp his microphone stand to prevent a complete fall.
Although fans had been tossing one of his five a day onto the stage, he mentioned that Rihanna was left speechless when fans brought umbrellas to her concerts in honor of her 2007 number-one single.
The heartthrob was discussing his one-off TV documentary on the BBC Radio 1 breakfast program with Nick Grimshaw when his friend Nick asked him about the infamous incident.
Former X Factor judge Nick remarked that Rihanna suffered the same fate, but with umbrellas, and he inquired about Harry Styles's prospects.
"Yeah, I mean definitely rather a kiwi than an umbrella, less sharp edges but umbrellas don't bruise. I haven't been hit straight on with a kiwi yet," Harry Styles said at that time.
In the same year, it was reported that ASDA had forbidden the sale of kiwis to individuals under the age of 25 prior to a concert at the 02 Apollo Manchester.
