Around 50% of American voters still don't believe that U.S. President Joe Biden received 81 million votes and won the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election.
A new survey by the American polling company Rasmussen Reports revealed this. The findings that Rasmussen acquired from its survey clearly indicate that many U.S. residents are still worried that the 2024 presidential election could be affected by cheating.
"Most voters are worried that next year's presidential election could be affected by cheating," said the polling organization via its official report.
Almost 50% of American Voters Don't Believe Biden's 81 Million Votes
The Washington Examiner reported that 49% of American voters in Rasmussen Reports' survey believe that Biden didn't win 81 million votes in the 2020 election.
Around 33% of these participants strongly agree, "There's no way Joe Biden got 81 million votes." On the other hand, 44% of survey participants disagree with the statement; 35% strongly disagree that Biden didn't win 81 million votes.
Rasmussen Reports conducted the poll between June 25 to June 27. The survey consisted of over 1,000 U.S. likely voters.
Why the Survey is Surprising
The most interesting part of the survey is that 31% of voters who don't believe that Biden got 81 million votes in 2020 are Democrats.
Although 72% are Republicans, the number of Democrats is still nearly half the overall participants who don't trust the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election.
Americans' Lack of Trust in Election
Aside from asking voters about their opinion on Biden's 81 million votes, Rasmussen Reports also conducted another survey focusing on voters' trust in U.S. elections.
It turned out that 66% of Americans are concerned that the output of the upcoming 2024 U.S. Presidential Election would include cheating.
Around 40% of them are "very concerned." This is why the U.S. government needs to make more efforts to ensure that no cheating will happen in the next U.S. presidential election.
