The fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg is still expected to happen by many of their fans.
The Italian government decided to get involved in the most-awaited cage fight between the two billionaires. TMZ reported that Italy's culture minister contacted Meta's CEO regarding the UFC fight against the Tesla boss.
The official suggested that they take their fight in the ancient Roman Colosseum.
Elon Musk Vs. Mark Zuckerberg Fight in Roman Colosseum!
According to Business Insider's latest report, Elon Musk tweeted about the chance of his fight with Zuckerberg happening in the historic Roman venue.
"Some chance fight happens in Colosseum," said Musk in his official Twitter post. The billionaire's viral tweet already garnered over 31 million views, 240,000 likes, and 14,500 retweets.
He added that if the fight will really take place in the Roman Colosseum, then he should work on his endurance.
This is a sign that Elon Musk is eager to bring his fight against Mark Zuckerberg to the Roman Colosseum.
There's also a chance that the Meta boss would accept the offer of the Italian culture minister since he is a fan of Roman history.
Previously, Zuckerberg talked about his fascination with Augustus Caesar. Some rumors even claimed that Mark chose to have a cropped hairstyle to emulate the appearance of the Roman emperor.
Why Musk vs Zuckerberg Fight is Big Deal for Italy
The Roman Colosseum (also called Flavian Amphitheater) is considered to be one of the seven wonders of the world.
It was used by Roman emperors for entertainment; fights between gladiators is the most popular event.
Although the Roman Colosseum is thousands of years old, it has been used for concerts and other events in modern times.
One of these is Elton John's concert in 2005. However, most of these modern events are not that large since they only have hundreds of spectators.
If the fight between Zuckerberg and Musk really takes place in this historic amphitheater, it could be the largest event that the Roman Colosseum will host for the past hundreds of years.
However, it would still depend if the cage fight will happen inside the Roman Colosseum or just outside its walls.
