The Biden Administration seems to be allowing more migrants into the U.S.
This was revealed after the CBP One app updated its allowed daily appointments; increasing the number by nearly 50%.
Is Biden Admin Allowing More Migrants Into US?
According to Fox News' latest report, CBP (Customs and Border Protection) confirmed that its CBP One app now allows 1,450 migrant appointments per day in the United States.
In May, the CBP One application only accepted 1,000 appointments daily. This number increased to 1,250 per day in June.
Comparing the latest allowed daily migrant appointment of CBP One this July to the numbers above, the increase is nearly 50%.
CBP Commissioner Troy Miller said that they are expanding the available daily appointments at ports of entry for the second time in less than two months.
They are doing this through scheduling enhancements, as well as operational efficiencies.
"By utilizing innovative technologies like CBP One, we are improving the delivery of our homeland security mission and providing for safe and efficient processes at ports of entry," added the CBP official via Homeland Security Today.

Other CBP One App Changes
Aside from the allowed daily migrant appointments, the CBP One app also temporarily relocated away from a Texas border recently.
This was conducted by the Biden Administration after numerous migrants complained that they were being targeted for extortions at the Texas border crossing.
The temporary relocation required migrants scheduled for the Laredo, Texas, port to travel to other U.S.-Mexico border crossings.
Why CBP One is Criticized
The CBP One app is being used by the U.S. government to make it easier for migrants to register and schedule their arrivals at points of entry in the United States.
Although it is helpful to migrants seeking new life in the American nation, Republicans are against the use of this app.
They claim that by using the CBP One app- along with the liberal use of migrant pathways and humanitarian parole- the U.S. government is allowing "otherwise-illegal" immigrants in through a law-breaking process that abuses agency parole power.
Some U.S. states, such as Texas and Indiana, even filed lawsuits against the use of the CBP One app. If you want to learn more details about these legal actions, you can click this link.
