Former United States (US) President Donald Trump hangs out with Joe Rogan, Mel Gibson, and more during the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 290 in Las Vegas.
The ex-POTUS also greeted his fans with high-fives at the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, July 8.

The former President's appearance at the UFC event drew a lot of attention, and photos and videos of him with the celebrities quickly went viral. As the night progressed, thrilling fights and jaw-dropping knockouts treated fans, but the highlight of the evening remained the interaction between Trump and his esteemed companions.
As per a report by Newsweek, photos taken during the UFC 290 show former President Trump chatting with comedian Guy Fieri and actor Mel Gibson.
In the same event, the MAGA leader also hung out with other personalities, such as the UFC President Dana White, an outspoken supporter of Trump in his previous campaigns. According to The Independent UK, White even walked the ex-President to his seat at the T-Mobile Arena.
When White and Trump entered the arena, the crowd welcomed them with thunderous applause, as MMA Weekly reports. The ex-US President watched the high-profile match between Brandon Moreno and Alexandre Pantoja as the latter sought to take the former's flyweight title.
Besides the UFC President, Trump also briefly rubbed elbows with podcaster Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier amid the UFC 290.
Images of the former President with Fieri, dubbed Mayor of Flavor Town, spread online while conversing with each other, sparking some praise and backlash from Twitter users.
An account that goes by Survivor Always says the meet-up at the UFC 290 was "disappointing. The tweet goes on to say that seeing them talking and smiling together is "horrible." The user also questioned the ethics and morals of the American restaurateur.
Another user Benny Johnson, a Trump supporter, says, "Trump in Flavor Town" coupled with flame emojis. His tweet promptly made rounds on Twitter, amassing more than 200,000 views and over 10,000 likes.

Donald Trump and UFC Fights
The Independent UK notes that it is not the first time Trump has attended a UFC event. In fact, the former President was the President in some notable MMA fights, such as Nate Diaz's match with Jorge Masvidal in 2019.
The MAGA leader also watched the battle between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira last April. During UFC 287, Trump hung out with the UFC president and heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson.
And now, Trump also witnessed the Moreno vs. Pantoja match at the UFC 290 in Las Vegas.
