[VIRAL] #PAGCORlogochallenge Now Trending on Social Media
#PAGCOR, #PAGCORlogochallenge, and #logochallenge are all trending on Facebook and Twitter.
This is because graphic designers in the Philippines are sharing their own logos based on the new PAGCOR logo.
If you are curious to know what their entries look like, here are some of them.
Ken Benitez Graphics' entry
Ken Benitez Graphics' entry combines the old and new logos of PAGCOR. The graphic designer used red, blue, and yellow as his color scheme. Just like the previous PAGCOR symbol, his entry also features two hands. This time, one is on top and the other at the bottom. There's a sun in the upper middle part of the logo.
Kristoffer Panes' entry
The entry designed by Kristoffer Panes is one of the most popular logos. He said that he used PAGCOR's official write-up as his prompt to design the icon.
Panes' entry resembles the letter P and flame. It has red and blue colors, as well as an orange and yellow gradient.
What makes his entry popular is that the logo can be mirrored to have the shape of a spade.
He explained that the flame element can be mirrored to form a spade to represent cards, games of numbers, casinos, and gaming.
Keith Mutoc Paragoso's entry
Although Paragoso's entry didn't go viral, her work still deserves attention.
In his icon, she decided to use two hands that are placed like how the Yin-Yang icon is designed. In the middle part, you can see the sun of the Philippine flag.
Paragoso's PAGCOR logo entry also uses yellow, red, and blue colors to match the agency's official icon.
The three unofficial PAGCOR logos above are just some of the entries shared by Filipino graphic artists. If you want to see more of their astonishing icons, you can visit Facebook and Twitter. Then, just search for #logochallenge, #PAGCORlogochallenge, or #PAGCOR.
Who Designed the New PAGCOR Logo?
According to Del Laddaran, a Filipino digital content creator, the new PAGCOR logo was designed by Printplus Graphic Services.
He acquired this information by sharing a screenshot of PAGCOR's official document confirming the payment for their new icon.
The letter was addressed to Mr. Francisco D. Doplon. Rappler reported that Doplon is also the graphic designer behind the quadricentennial logo of UST (University of Santo Tomas).
