The new Twitter "X" logo is now being compared by users to the adult website "Xvideos." Elon Musk started giving hints regarding the icon change on Sunday, July 23.
Now, the billionaire officially removed the iconic Blue Bird logo, changing it to the new X symbol.

According to Forbes' latest report, "Xvideos" has been trending on Twitter ever since the platform changed its logo. Many Twitter users even jokingly said that the video content on the social media platform will now be called "X videos."
Meanwhile, an Elon Musk parody account asked what should the Twitter Blue subscription be called now. The billionaire, via his official Twitter account, answered that the subscription will be named "Balls."
Of course, Elon's statement is just his way of rolling with users' funny jokes.
For those who are wondering why Musk changed Twitter's logo, he already provided some explanations.
One of these is that the tech executive believes that "X" is the closest thing to everything. He also stated that he can't explain it, but he had always liked the letter "X."
As of writing, the Twitter About Us page, as well as the Twitter Support account and other official profiles still carry the original Blue Bird branding.

Twitter's Competitor Mastodon Gains More Users
Tech Crunch reported that as Elon Musk changes Twitter's original branding, its competitor, Mastodon, is seeing more users.
This was confirmed that Mastodon CEO Eugen Rochko. The platform's founder said that the monthly active users have steadily increased for the past months.
Rochko added that Mastodon currently has over 2 million monthly active users.
"I haven't been following it very closely but looks like Mastodon's monthly active user count climbed back up to 2.1M over the last couple of weeks. Not far off from our last peak!" said Eugen via his official Mastodon announcement.
This is not surprising since many analysts explained that the fate of Mastodon's business commonly relies on the decisions made by Twitter.
This means that if Twitter made a wrong move, it will definitely benefit Mastodon.
