Elon Musk said that SpaceX and Tesla are making efforts to help Hawaii recover from the deadly wildfires. The billionaire said that his companies are doing their best to assist residents of the island.
Elon Musk: SpaceX, Tesla Helping Hawaii Recover
According to NDTV's latest report, Elon Musk announced that Tesla and SpaceX are both assisting Hawaii's recovery operations.
"Tesla & SpaceX/Starlink doing our best to be helpful to Hawaii," said the tech executive via his official X post on Aug. 17.
His announcement generated over 29 million views, 19,600 comments, and 239,000 likes. In the comment section, many of his fans claimed that the billionaire is doing more for Maui than the U.S. government.
Others thanked the tech executive for serving humanity, especially during rough times, such as the deadly Hawaii wildfires.
Meanwhile, some X users offered their suggestions. One of them said that it would be great if SpaceX and Tesla could offer $700 financial assistance to each household affected in Hawaii.
But, Elon Musk has other ways of helping the victims of the deadly Hawaii forest fires.

How SpaceX and Tesla Help Hawaii Residents
In a separate X post, Starlink, via its official account, confirmed that more than 650 kits were sent to over 40 organizations on the island.
This effort is expected to help Maui residents to have better internet connectivity so they can contact their loved ones and reach for further assistance.
One of these organizations that received Starlink kits is Red Lightning Disaster Relief. The agency said that they are already preparing 20 Starlink systems.
The organization explained that communication is among the major needs in many areas, especially those with power lines down and connectivity difficulties.
Meanwhile, Tesla hasn't shared the specific efforts it is doing to assist Hawaii's recovery operations.
Aside from Tesla and SpaceX, other giant companies are also lending a helping hand. These include Amazon, which pledged to donate $100 million to rebuild Mau.
This effort was confirmed by Amazon Executive Chairman Jeff Bezos and fiance Lauren Sanchez.
