Technology is now being used in education, entertainment, work, etc. Now, it is also intersecting the spiritual realm as a new AI chatbot, which enables users to text Jesus, was launched.

According to Fox News' latest report, the new Text With Jesus app can be the digital salvation that Christians are looking for.

This artificial intelligence-powered app promises interaction with biblical figures, including Peter, Matthew, Joseph, Mary, and Jesus.

The Text With Jesus app is developed by Catloaf Software; an independent software company located in Los Angeles, California.

The company claims that this new app offers a new and engaging way to interact with the Bible.

Catloaf Software CEO Stephane Peter said that their AI chatbot is extensively trained based on a wide array of Christian literature. These include numerous versions of the Bible in multiple languages.

"The ability to ask questions and receive answers from a facsimile of Biblical figures adds a personal touch and contextual understanding that may elude casual readers," he explained via Christian Headlines.

He added that the robust conversational skills and contextual memory of Text With Jesus allow meaningful and dynamic conversations.

Peter promised that the interactions with the AI app would remain within the boundaries of Christian belief.

"This principle is at the heart of the language model instructions for each Biblical figure within the app," said the Catloaf CEO.

The most controversial thing about Text With Jesus is that users have the option to interact with Satan as well.

But, the app's developers decided to make the conversations with the Devil an odd mix of sass and solemnity. They did this by adding a "smiling face with horns" emoji at every end of interactions.

Catloaf clarified that the portrayal of Sata is rooted in Christian teachings. The company added that users have more control over their conversations with Satan and other biblical figures.

The software developer also explained that the feature to text with Satan is turned off by default. It can only be manually activated by users.

For those who are curious to try this feature, it can be acquired by paying the $2.99 monthly subscription fee.

If you are a Christian and want to try the new Text With Jesus app, you can install it on your iPad, Mac, or iPhone.

Catloaf promised that once people use the new AI chatbot, their conversations will not be shared with any third-party companies. The software developer said that information on the app is stored privately and securely.
