About the Mysterious California Land Purchase
Reports stated that the land purchase in California was meant for the construction of a new utopian town, which would offer thousands of residents urban living and reliable public transportation.
Once it is completed, the new town is expected to rely purely on clean energy. The Flannery Associates purchased the land from farmers more than its original market value.
Because of this, the group became the largest landowner in Solano County. The property that was purchased encircles the Travis Air Force base in Fairfield, which is home to 120,000 residents.
"We are proud to partner on a project that aims to deliver good-paying jobs, affordable housing, clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, open space, and a healthy environment to residents of Solano County," said Brian Brokaw, the Flannery spokesperson.
He added that they are excited to work with the Travis Air Force Base, residents, and elected officials to create the new utopian town.
