Las Vegas law enforcement officials are on the hunt for a man who hit a pedestrian and fled from the scene.
The unknown driver of a gray Honda Accord was caught on surveillance camera striking an elderly man two weeks ago, but police still haven't found the suspected attacker.
Officials are now hoping that releasing the video online will lead them to some clues, according to CNN.
In the video, a gray Honda Accord is seen driving into an AM/PM gas station parking lot, then cuts off another man's vehicle. The man, who is seen wearing a red baseball hat and crewneck, is forced to swerve around the Accord to avoid crashing right into its fender.
Several moments later, the man walks across the parking lot, whereupon the Accord accelerates in his path, but narrowly misses hitting him. The driver then advances, hits the man, and runs him over.
The video depicts the car fleeing from the station parking lot, while the victim lies on the ground, clutching his legs, writhing in pain.
AM/PM attendant Sheyla Rodriguez, who spoke to CNN's local station KVVU in Las Vegas, said the man was clearly severely injured.
"The guy was on the floor for 10 minutes, screaming," Rodriguez recalled. "We tried to help him the most we can."
The victim sustained serious injuries from the February 6 event, and was immediately transferred to a nearby medical facility after employees and eyewitnesses called emergency response crews to the scene.
Police are now hoping that the video, which has been posted on the Internet, will go viral, and citizens with any information can come forward with reports for law enforcement.
A San Antonio man was caught earlier this month by police, after he recorded a video of himself bobbing in and out of traffic. Within the first seven days of the video's release, officials caught the suspect.
