A renowned Russian political analyst, Dr. Valery Solovey, has boldly asserted that the notorious warlord Yevgeny Prigozhin is alive and well despite official reports of his recent death in a plane accident.
The accident, which resulted in the deaths of several people, including Wagner military commander Dmitry Utkin and flight attendant Kristina Raspopova, has sparked a wave of controversy concerning Prigozhin's fate and the events leading up to the tragic incident, Newsbreak reported.
Wagner Chief Yevgeny Prigozhin is Alive, Russian Analyst Claims
A former professor at Moscow's esteemed Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Dr. Solovey's insider knowledge of Kremlin affairs is well-known. His recent claims have sent shockwaves throughout Russia and beyond, challenging the official account of Prigozhin's fate presented by Russian authorities.
While Russian President Vladimir Putin has declined to attend Prigozhin's funeral, Dr. Solovey asserts that the warlord is still living and plotting vengeance against those who attempted to eliminate him.
Dr. Solovey said Prigozhin evaded an assassination attempt orchestrated by Putin's security council. Using a body double as a diversion, the alleged operation entailed bringing down the plane that Prigozhin was supposed to be on.
The analyst disputes the official explanation that the aircraft was destroyed by an explosion on board, arguing that it was shot down from the outside. In addition, he accuses Russian authorities of planting false evidence, including Prigozhin's DNA at the accident site, to mislead the public about his death.
"Prigozhin was not present on board. His double flew in place of him. In addition, Vladimir Putin is fully aware of this," Dr. Solovey stated, casting doubt on the Kremlin's official statements, as per Express.

Prigozhin's Alleged Exile Location
Dr. Solovey intends to reveal the country where Prigozhin is allegedly in exile, implying that the Wagner private army is not interested in Africa. He asserts that Prigozhin intends to disclose himself by the end of the year, casting doubt on the prevailing account of his demise.
Putin's spokesman responded to the allegations by stating, "The President's presence is not required... relatives and close friends make the decision."
According to Dr. Solovey, the enigmatic Prigozhin, known for his involvement in various global conflicts, has access to a substantial Bitcoin fund worth £1.6 billion, which will be used to pursue revenge against those who attempted to eliminate him.
Prigozhin has ample opportunity for retribution. As for ambition, vitality, and courage, he possesses an abundance of all three, according to Dr. Solovey. Conflicting narratives continue to escalate the controversy. According to the Russian Investigative Committee, Prigozhin's DNA was discovered on a body at the accident site, confirming his death.
Ekaterina Shulman, a political scientist, has suggested that the accident may have been a cover for Prigozhin to vanish permanently using one of his many spare passports. Former Russian presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak has also expressed skepticism regarding the official account of events, stating, "My feeling is that we are burying [Prigozhin] too early."
Thirty-eight percent of respondents to a survey conducted by the Brief Telegram channel believe that Prigozhin may still be alive, reflecting the general skepticism and ambiguity surrounding the incident.
As the controversy continues, Dr. Solovey's allegations have cast doubt on the integrity of official statements and highlighted the complexity of power struggles and covert operations in the Russian political landscape. As the enigma surrounding Yevgeny Prigozhin deepens, it leaves more questions than answers behind, according to Daily Mail.
