Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario and Suits star Patrick J Adams are engaged!
People confirmed that Troian and Patrick are now engaged. It seems that the 32-year-old Suits star might have proposed to his 28-year-old girlfriend during their ongoing Europe trip. No further details are available.
Troian who plays the role of Spencer Hastings, a high schooler, in the popular ABC Family sitcom 'Pretty Little Liars', said that the two hardly get time to be with each other due to their tight working schedules. Moreover, she works in Los Angeles and Patrick works in Toronto.
"It's really hard to be away from the person you love, especially when they're your rock and support system,' Troian has said about their long-distance arrangement. It's a challenge but it's kind of perfect because we're such analytic, hyper intelligent people that sometimes just to be in each other's faces all the time might have been too much for us,' she told People recently. "We're really growing!"
In January, Troian spoke about her eating disorder and self-harm issues "I started self-harming when I was a junior," she said in an interview with the Seventeen magazine. "It was about wanting to please my father and mother and wanting to be perfect to everybody. I just thought if I ever expressed (to my parents) any sadness or anger or anything that's going on with me, they would disown me. I kept a lot of it bottled up inside, and it turned into self-destructive behavior," she said.
However, she was helped by her friends to come out of the problem, she said.
Troian met the Canadian-born actor in 2009 when they were cast opposite each other in the play 'Equivocation.' Patrick began starring in the co-lead of Mike Ross in the legal drama 'Suits' in 2011. Prior to that, he also appeared in one of the episodes of 'Pretty Little Liars.' He is all set to appear in the movie 'Car Dogs' slated to release some time this year.
