Six people, including a 15-year-old, who described themselves as members of a religious group called "Soldiers of Christ" were arrested Thursday (September 14) on murder charges after a woman's body was found in the trunk of a car parked outside a Korean spa and sauna in Duluth, Georgia.
Investigators said they were informed of the discovery Tuesday night (September 12), but have ruled the spa out in its inquiries.
The arrest warrants for the six people, who were of Korean descent, stated that the victim was starved and beaten for weeks before she eventually died.
The woman's identity has not been released, the Associated Press reported.

The primary suspect was identified as Eric Hyun (26) of Suwanee, who detectives alleged was the driver of the car that contained the victim's body. The other five suspects were Lee Gawom (26), Lee Joonho (26), Lee Juoonhyum (22), and Lee Hyunji (25), the 15-year-old whose name was withheld, all from Lawrenceville.
All are being held in custody without bond. It was unknown if any of them had an attorney who could speak on their behalf.
Police also said Hyun parked the vehicle early Tuesday, then called a relative to pick him up. The family member then took Hyun to an Atlanta-area hospital for unrelated injuries. While there, he asked the family member to get a personal item from the parked vehicle.
When the family member went back to the vehicle, he discovered the woman's body in the trunk and called 911, police added.
Investigators subsequently released a search warrant for a Lawrenceville home that has ties with Hyun, believing the crime occurred in the property's basement.
Authorities further alleged the victim recently moved to the US from South Korea to join a religious movement called "Soldiers of Christ," based on what the suspects referred to themselves as.
