If you are an iPhone user, then you know the trouble that NSFW (not safe for work) pics bring, especially if these photos contain nudes.
Thanks to Apple's new iOS 17, you no longer have to worry about sent NSFW images suddenly popping up on your iPhone.
iPhone Now Blurs Nudes, Other NSFW Pics
Life Hacker reported that there was no proper way to block NSFW messages while allowing other innocent photos to be received by iMessage.
But, this situation finally changed, thanks to iOS 17's arrival. Apple said that this new iPhone software update has a feature that can blur NSFW photos.
This functionality is called "Sensitive Content Warning," which relies on machine learning technology to analyze videos, photos, and other content that iPhones receive.
The iPhone maker clarified that this feature doesn't allow them to have access to users' media because the process happens entirely offline.
Apple also explained that it doesn't receive any indication if users are receiving NSFW messages. All these details mean that iOS 17 blurs nudes and other not-safe-for-work images without compromising people's privacy.
