Florida hasn't lost since Dec. 2 and can pick up their 20th straight win with a victory against Vanderbilt. Two consecutive losses from Syracuse helped the Gators (25-2) reach No. 1 in the nation for the first time since 2007, according to ESPN.

Florida coach Billy Donovan, however, isn't taking the ranking to heart.

"But let's be honest right now: The only reason we have garnered No. 1 and we would have never, ever been No. 1 if it had not been for the teams in front of us losing," Donovan said, via ESPN. "... It's not like all of a sudden Florida is No. 1 or you get a ranking and we're the best team in the country. We've been given a number, and that's about the extent of it."

The Gators head into Tuesday's contest on the heels of a 75-71 win on Saturday against Ole Miss. A win would not only extend Florida's current streak, it'd also secure at least part of the SEC title ahead of their game on Saturday against LSU.

Vanderbilt, meanwhile, hosts Florida after a successful visit on Saturday to Auburn. The unranked Commodores (15-11) earned their 67-59 win over the Tigers largely because of the performance from the Vanderbilt bench.

"Our bench by and large was better than our starters," Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings said. "That hasn't happened much but I wasn't going to watch that garbage that I watched the first eight or nine minutes. We were down and I said to hell with that, we're going to put some guys in who are going to play hard."
