Dean McDermott surfaced for the first time at the family's Los Angeles home since completing his 30-day stint in rehab. The "Santa Baby 2" actor checked into a Los Angeles facility to deal with "some health and personal issues" after rumors surfaced that he was cheating on Tori Spelling.
Now that McDermott has completed his program, he's reportedly urging his wife to also seek treatment for her "out of control spending," a source told Radar Online.
"Dean has told Tori she needs to get treatment for her spending, which is putting added pressure on the family," a source told the site. "Tori's spending is out of control... She will go through periods when it's not an issue, but she slips and buys stuff the family simply doesn't need."
"There are nights that Dean doesn't sleep because he is so concerned about how they are going to pay the bills," the source continued. "Tori is willing to get help, but complains she doesn't have time because of their four kids."
This isn't the first time rumors have surfaced claiming the actress was having money problems. Last month, a report by Radar claimed that Spelling wanted to divorce McDermott but was afraid she would go broke if the split.
"She would definitely kick Dean to the curb if she could financially afford to do so... Tori has admitted she would file for divorce from Dean, but she is afraid she would go broke," the source said. "The couple has no prenuptial agreement and Tori is the sole breadwinner."
Despite the couple's marital troubles, Spelling's mother, Candy, is reportedly urging her daughter to work out their differences because McDermott is an excellent father to their children. The source claims that even though Candy is not a fan of the actor's right now, she still believes he loves her daughter and will always be a great dad to the kids.
