Still Alive? Naked Girl Paraded by Hamas Reportedly in Gaza Hospital

Mother of Shani Louk asks for the German government to rescue her daughter.

Shani Louk, the 22-year-old German-Israeli woman in her 20s who was attending the Tribe of Nova music festival and was reportedly stripped naked and killed by Hamas fighters has been revealed to be alive in a hospital inside Gaza after receiving serious head injuries.

German news website Bild reported that Louk's mother, Ricarda, feared her daughter was killed in the Hamas attack after seeing a video showing Louk unconscious at the back of a pick-up truck and was identified with the dreadlocks in her hair and the tattoos on her leg.

Still Alive and in Hospital?

Newsweek reported a new revelation on Tuesday (October 10) that Louk was alive and taken to a hospital inside Gaza.

"We now have more information that Shani is alive," Ricarda told German broadcaster NTV, adding that she received the information from unnamed Palestinian sources.

The mother also asked the German government for help and quick action as her daughter seemed to be seriously injured.

"Every minute counts," she added.

At least 150 people were estimated to be kidnapped by Hamas fighters during their coordinated surprise attack across southern Israel over the weekend. Many of those abducted, including Louk and her Brazilian boyfriend, were attendees of the music festival.

While the exact number of people who were taken hostage from the festival and elsewhere in southern Israel has not been determined, at least two other partygoers were still unaccounted for - 25-year-old Chinese-Israeli Noa Argamani and 23-year-old American-Israeli Hersh Golberg-Polin.
