After four years, Park Seo Joon finally decided to go back to the Philippines to meet his loyal Filipino fans.
On Friday, Oct. 14, the Korean actor decided to have a fan meeting at the Araneta Coliseum. Many of his fans, as well as journalists, attended the event.
During the fan meeting, he was asked how he was able to understand all the characters of series and movies he accepted. Here's what the celebrity shared.
Park Seo Joon Back in the Philippines After Four Years
According to Philstar's latest report, Park Seo Joon shared some acting advice that he himself relied on to become a great Korean actor.
"When I receive a scenario or project, I first try to look and take in all the information I can get," he explained.
"Once I see some missing spots, as an actor it's my responsibility to fill them [in] myself," added the popular actor.
The Korean celebrity even provided an example using a hypothetical 35-year-old doctor. Park Seo Joon explained that if he's given this kind of character, he will think about how the doctor became what he is.
These include the processes the character went through. Aside from tips on how he can effectively portray characters, the media also asked him what advice would he give to his 18-year-old self.
"In those years I was having a very hard time because I really had a vague future, so my advice would be, 'Just do your best, everything will work out, and never lose your old self,'" said Seo Joon.

Will Park Seo Joon Make Another Philippine Visit?
Many fans were happy to see their idol once again in the Philippines. Before the fan meeting ended, Park Seo Joon teased his fans, saying that he would come back again to the Asian country very soon.
This is because he has been shooting "Gyeongseong Creature" for the past two years. The first season of the series is expected to be released before 2023 ends.
So, it is safe to conclude that if ever Park Seo Joon visits the Philippines again this 2023, he will bring some big updates about the upcoming "Gyeongseong Creature."
Other Korean Actors Visiting the Philippines
Aside from Park Seo Joon, GMA News Online reported that Korean actors Kim Jae Won and Ahn Hyo Seop are also in the Philippines.
Unlike Seo Joon, Jae Won is visiting the Philippines to spend his vacation in Cebu. On his official Instagram account, he posted some photos of himself having a good time while swimming and enjoying the view of a waterfall.
