'Gargoyles,' one of Disney's darkest shows, will soon be released into a live-action series by Director James Wan and Gary Dauberman.

'Gargoyles' Comeback
'Gargoyles' was known for its highly creepy theme. But the remake will only have the potential of horror since it will be premiering on Disney.
Walt Disney Television Animation produced the original 'Gargoyles,' starring David as heroic Goliath and Jonathan Frakes as evil David Xanatos.
The story was about creatures brought back to life at night and turned to stone during the day. The show lasted from 1994 to 1997 and significantly impacted the industry. The cartoon has inspired a group of gargoyle statues who wake up at night to protect New York, which is relocated to Scotland.
Dauberman and Wan's collaboration sounds thrilling for the upcoming Halloween. Disney recently released a show based on the 'Goosebumps' series of books that many think hits a pleasant balance between spooky, scary, and "safe for Disney."
Dauberman and Wan shared that 'Gargoyles' is the perfect show on the streamer for a terrifying Halloween. 'Gargoyles' remake was rumored to be released back in 2010. Now is the time that it could actually happen.
Some live-action shows from Disney are 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Lion King,' which made them a blockbuster.
