Hollywood star and Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow plans to completely disappear from public life after her retirement in the acting and business industries.

During an interview, the "Iron Man" star detailed what she wants her life to look like after exiting the high life in the industry. The 51-year-old said that after she retires, no one will ever see her again.

Gwyneth Paltrow's Future Plans

Paltrow is planning to sell Goop, her wellness company that was founded in 2008, as she hopes to retire from her business in a "few more years" in order to focus on her family. She has been married to producer Brad Falchuk since 2018 and is the stepmother to his two children, 19-year-old daughter Isabella and 17-year-old son Brody.

The actress and her ex-husband, Chris Martin, are parents to two children, 19-year-old daughter Apple and 17-year-old son Moses. In a statement, Paltrow said that she loves "creating, collaborating, being struck with new ideas, innovating, thinking ahead, strategy, vision, that kind of thing," as per the New York Post.

A report previously valued Paltrow's Goop company at a massive $250 million in 2018. Despite the actress' successful on-screen career, she has not picked up many film and TV projects in the last decade. Her last appearance in the cinemas was in 2019's "Avengers: Endgame" where she played Pepper Potts.

On top of not appearing in that many shows or series, Paltrow has trouble recollecting some of her appearances in the Marvel franchise. In 2019, the actress completely forgot that she played Pepper Potts in 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

She made an appearance on "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau's and chef Roy Choi's Netflix cooking Series "The Chef Show." There, Paltrow said that they were not in the Spider-Man franchise. However, Favreau replied by confirming that she was indeed part of the franchise.

But for now, Paltrow said that she plans on running Goop, adding that she is not motivated by wealth despite her accomplishments as an entrepreneur. The actress noted that she could never get attracted to the "really rich guy," according to US Magazine.

Focusing on her Family

Paltrow has spent roughly three decades of her life in Hollywood but noted that her paycheck was never her priority. She said that she has always done independent films and that money was never her driver in her career.

The Oscar winner is now focused on helping Moses and Brody complete their senior years in high school and apply to colleges. She said that the effort is a full-time job. Paltrow added that her daughter Apple has to cope with the judgment that exists surrounding kids of famous people.

During an interview in 2020, the Hollywood star discussed the point that she stepped away from the acting industry. She noted that it was like hitting the bullseye and started to question what she was driving towards.

Paltrow continued to say that she felt that part of the shine of acting just wore off and she felt like she was being criticized for everything that she was doing, saying, and wearing, said the Daily Mail.
