The tensions between Israel and Hamas, a critical situation, is currently developing in Gaza.

Israel has ordered the evacuation of Al-Quds Hospital, leaving more than 400 injured patients and 12,000 displaced civilians, predominantly women and children, in a difficult situation, as per Sky News.

Israel's Three-Step Strategy to Fight Hamas in the Face of Worsening Gaza Crisis

This evacuation order comes as Israel announces a three-stage plan to combat Hamas and its recent attacks. The situation in Gaza is rapidly deteriorating, and the international community is expressing deep concern.

Al-Quds Hospital serves as a refuge and treatment center for Palestinians in Gaza and has been ordered to evacuate. This decision raises concerns about the safety of the more than 400 injured patients and the thousands of civilians seeking shelter within its walls.

The World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General, Tedros Ghebreyesus, has expressed deep concern, emphasizing the impossibility of safely evacuating overcrowded hospitals quickly. He calls for protecting healthcare facilities as they carry out their life-saving functions.

Israel's Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, has unveiled a three-stage plan in response to the escalating conflict with Hamas. The first phase involves a military campaign with strikes and a subsequent maneuver to destroy Hamas operatives and infrastructure.

This phase is intended to defeat and dismantle the organization. Minister Gallant declared that Israel had no choice and was now in a state of war. In the second phase, operations will be conducted at a lower intensity to eliminate pockets of resistance.

The third and final phase envisions the removal of Israel's responsibility for Gaza and the establishing of a new security reality for its citizens. Minister Gallant has declared that October 7th marks the beginning of the destruction of Hamas, according to Mail Online.

Humanitarian Disaster and International Peace Efforts in the Gaza Conflict Crisis

The recent conflict was triggered by Hamas's unprecedented attack on October 7th, during which thousands of rockets were launched at Israeli towns, leading to the death of more than 1,400 civilians and the taking of around 200 hostages.

In response, Israel ordered a retaliatory bombing and a complete siege of the Gaza Strip, home to two million Palestinians, with an estimated half of the population being children.

The toll on Gaza's population has been devastating, with over 3,700 Palestinians killed, 13,400 injured, and approximately 1,000 believed to be trapped under the rubble. An additional one million people have been displaced, pushing the territory toward a significant humanitarian crisis.

Civilians in Gaza are cut off from essential supplies such as food, water, electricity, and medicine. The international community has expressed grave concerns about the situation in Gaza. The United States brokered a deal with Egypt to allow 20 aid trucks to enter Gaza through the Rafah passage.

However, the United Nations has stressed that greater support is urgently needed. UN Secretary-General António Guterres emphasized the need for core services and supplies, calling for assistance on a large scale and sustained support.

In an earlier statement, Mr. Guterres expressed the gravity of the situation, stating that "too many lives - and the fate of the entire region - hang in the balance."

The escalation of violence in the region not only poses an immediate threat to the lives of civilians but also has broader implications for regional stability and peace. As the situation in Gaza worsens, the international community faces the challenge of responding effectively to alleviate the suffering of civilians trapped during a devastating conflict.

The immediate priority must be the safety and well-being of the people affected and a concerted effort to bring about a ceasefire and lasting peace in the region, The Sun reported.
