The most awaited X video and audio calls are finally rolling out to users. However, these new communication features are not available to everybody since only selected people can access them.
In August, X CEO Linda Yaccarino already confirmed the arrival of video and audio calls on the social media platform. She said that X users will soon be able to make chat calls without providing their mobile numbers.

You can choose one of the options below or click all of them if you are comfortable making calls with these X users:
- People in your address book
- People you follow

After that, just click the phone icon, which is located in the top right corner of your screen. Once you click that button, you can either make a video or audio call.

"Ready for it...?" said the online platform before some users spotted the new comms features.
