Elon Musk announces new details about his most-awaited Tesla Cybertruck, which is expected to be delivered before 2023 ends.
He shared his new yearly production plan and a new version of the EV during his interview on the "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast, which was released on Tuesday. Oct. 31.
Previously, the billionaire said that Tesla had the capacity to manufacture more than 125,000 Cybertruck units. Now, he claims that the automaker could soon do more than that.
Elon Musk Announces New Plans for Tesla Cybertrucks
According to Fox Business' latest report, Elon Musk claims that Tesla is aiming to produce 200,000 Cybertrucks annually. He added that by 2025, the giant electric carmaker could be manufacturing up to 250,000 units per year.
"We're aiming to make about 200,000 a year at point production ... maybe a little more, but I just can't emphasize enough that manufacturing is much much harder than the initial design," said the billionaire.
This is surprising since in September, Musk said that they dug their "own grave with Cybertruck," expressing his concerns that Tesla could face enormous challenges in increasing its production and making the electric pickup truck profitable.
But, it looks like Elon Musk is now more confident about his Tesla Cybertruck. However, he still needs to keep his promised deliveries, which are expected to start on Nov. 30; around four years after the EV was unveiled in Los Angeles.

New Beast Mode Tesla Cybertruck To Arrive
Aside from the production capacity for the Tesla Cybertruck, Elon Musk also revealed a new version called "Beast Mode."
However, the billionaire didn't provide specific details about this new version, as reported by Business Insider.
Although this is the case, the tech executive said that the Tesla Cybertruck will have bulletproof steel panels, as well as optional bulletproof glass that clients can purchase.
There's a chance that the new Beast Mode Cybertruck will have bulletproof glass as its default. However, Elon explained that this bulletproof glass could compromise the EV's usability.
"You can make anything bulletproof if you want, but the glass has to be very thick to be bulletproof, so it can't go up and down," said the billionaire.
This means that the new bulletproof windows will be immobile. Another new information that Elon Musk shared is that the Cybertruck is estimated to weigh around 6,000 to 7,000 lbs.
So, if the Beast Mode version has more components and heavier parts, then it might be around 7,000 lbs or heavier than other variants.
