A graduate student of Louisiana Tech University and three non-students were injured in a random knife attack inside the campus on Monday morning (November 13).
The incident happened in the school's Lambright Sports and Wellness Center in Ruston, Louisiana. It was revealed that the four people were leaving the building when they were stabbed.
The university released a statement about the incident, identifying the attacker as 23-year-old Jacoby Johnson, a student of the said university, who was since taken into custody by police.

"This appears to be a random act of violence," the school said. "The suspect then fled south toward [the] main campus and was apprehended by campus police without incident."
Of the four victims, one was taken in critical condition while two others were in a serious but stable condition.
Authorities and university officials also urged the public to avoid the area.
