Both India and Sri Lanka head into Match 4 with four points apiece in the Asia Cup standings. Sri Lanka upset the reigning Asia Cup champions, Pakistan, in the opening match with a 12-run win. Lasith Malinga earned the Man of the Match award for his performance on the bowling front, which included taking five of Sri Lanka's 10 wickets.
Sri Lanka's batsmen started off the tournament strong. Lahiru Thirimanne scored a game-high 102 runs, Kumar Sangakkara scored 67 runs and skipper Angelo Mathews scored 55 runs (not out).
India started the tournament with a six-wicket win over Bangladesh. Skipper Virat Kohli won the Man of the Match award for the 136 runs he scored; Ajinkya Rahana added to the scoring total with 73 runs. On the bowling front, Mohammed Shami took a team-high four wickets.
The match takes place at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah, Bangladesh. Weather.com forecasts a partly cloudy day with temperatures possibly reaching a high of 82 degrees Fahrenheit; there's a 10 percent chance of rain and winds could reach 14 mph.
