As Christmas approaches, many meat lovers are looking for the best deal to ease their shopping for food they could potentially serve at the festive table, or even eliminate the need to go to the local butcher.
CNET featured one of its favorite meat delivery services, ButcherBox, as it was about to close its offer of free steaks for a year and a $100 subscription discount.
The offer ends before midnight of November 30.

Free Steaks for a Year
According to its website, ButcherBox offers its customers a choice of ribeyes, New York strips, or filet mignons on top of its subscription boxes, which start at $146 per month.
The company would provide those availing the offer $100 over the first five months of a customer's new subscription, essentially slashing the price by $20 per month.
ButcherBox claims to offer antibiotic-free meat, including grass-fed beef, humanely raised pork, free-range organic chicken, and wild-caught seafood, with customizable subscription box options to cater to individual tastes and frequency of reception, all while not paying for any shipping fee.
