Selena Gomez's Birthday Message to Taylor Swift
The 'Only Murders in the Building' actress posted her birthday message to bff Swift on Instagram with a caption, "Happy birthday to the goddess that is @taylorswift."
The message was posted with a photo of Swift kissing her on the cheek while snapping the picture that said, "I love you."
On December 8, the soul sisters wore a matching cozy brown ensemble, which they wore during a night out in New York with friends Cara Delevingne, Zoë Kravitz, and Anya Taylor-Joy. In their stylish selfie, Gomez wore a snake-print miniskirt and trench coat set, while Swift gave off folklore vibes with a chunky knit sweater and Miu Miu pleated check skirt.
The singer also flashed a "B" ring on her finger, with fans speculating romance with record producer Benny Blanco. Gomez seemingly confirmed one day before their girl's night out.
However, the only confirmation was that Selena Gomez belonged to her forever bff of over a decade. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift told E! News in 2014 that her friendship with Gomez was the longest.
"Longevity is something you really can find very precious and rare in friendships" Swift said.
'The Eras Tour'
Swift recently performed her 17-year career and ten albums into one tour in a three-and-a-half-hour event that included over 40 songs, 16 costume changes, and intricate pyrotechnics and stage production, which she performed 66 times in the US before kicking off the international leg in November.
The tour grossed over $2.2 billion in North American ticket sales alone, an estimated $5.7 billion in consumer spending, and recorded $3 million in Etsy sales of friendship bracelets. Furthermore, her concert film 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' also made movie history and generated the highest single-day ticket sales revenue in AMC Theater's 103-year history.
The movie grossed $93 million on its opening weekend, breaking the record for a concert film previously held by 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' ($73 million). Swift's film became the highest-grossing concert film of all time, earning $249.6 million worldwide.
After her movie debut, Swift finally released the re-recorded version of '1989' in October after almost ten years. '1989 (Taylor's Version)' became the most-streamed Spotify album in a single day.
The album was streamed 3.5 million times worldwide, making her the first artist to score six No. 1 album debuts with over 1 million units sold in history.
