Israel has warned that they have prepared for war on seven fronts, which sparked fears of escalating conflict in neighboring countries.
The neighboring countries have recorded extensive attacks in the last 48 hours.
Israel Prepares for War on 7 Fronts
On Tuesday, Yoav Gallant, Israel's defense minister and one of only three members of its war cabinet, said in an address to the Israeli government that they were coming under attack from Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran.
"We are in a multifront war and coming under attack from seven theatres," he said before listing the neighboring countries. He added that they were taking action on six fronts without going into detail.
His comments came after the explosions on the coast of Yemen, which were presumed to be an attack by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels, and missiles were fired into Israel by the Iranian-backed Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon.
The British Maritime Authority issued a warning to ships passing through the Red Sea to exercise caution after reporting that missiles had been spotted off the coast of Yemen, close to Houthi installations. They claimed to have witnessed many explosions in the vicinity during the day, but there were no casualties.
The incidents that have been recorded occurred one week after the US declared a multinational maritime security strategy in the Red Sea in response to attacks on vessels by Yemen's Houthis.
Since October, the Houthi militants, which Iran supported, have been attacking commercial ships in the Red Sea. According to the group, the attacks were an act of sympathy with the Palestinians who were under Israeli siege in Gaza.
The Israeli military said that more than a thousand miles directly north, southern Lebanese forces had struck a church and injured a civilian after an exchange of missiles across the border.
Furthermore, they accused Iranian-backed Hezbollah of deliberately firing at Israeli civilian and religious sites after a Greek Orthodox church was struck on Tuesday.
Two additional assaults were reported against the Israeli embassy in New Delhi, India, as well as in northeastern Egypt, near the borders of Gaza and southern Israel. There were no casualties in either attack, and it remains unclear who was behind them.
Israel's Bombardment
On Monday, an Israeli airstrike in Syria has killed an Iranian general. The US warplanes also struck an Iranian-backed militant in Iraq, which wounded American soldiers in drone strikes.
Israel continued bombing the Gaza enclave to destroy Hamas, another organization sponsored by Iran that carried out the horrific attack on Israeli territory on October 7. The attack resulted in 1,140 people dead and led to 240 people being taken hostage.
More than 20,900 Palestinians were killed by Israel's bombardment and subsequent ground invasion of Gaza. According to the Hamas health ministry, more than 240 were killed in the last 24 hours.
On Tuesday, Israeli forces bombed Palestinian refugee camps in central Gaza and warned the residents to evacuate the area, urging them to move to Deir al-Balah.
