What's so special about 12/31/23?

Las Vegas 2023 New Year weddings could reach a new record high. As of writing, Nevada's current highest record for weddings on New Year's Eve is 4,492.

This was recorded on July 7, 2007. Now, New Year's Eve weddings in Las Vegas this 2023 are expected to exceed this number because of a "specialty date."

On Dec. 31, Americans are expected to have their weddings in Las Vegas because of the specialty date. Officials, as well as residents, said that specialty dates are always hugely popular for weddings.

But, 12/31/23 is considered to be a double-kill celebration since it is a specialty date that falls on New Year's Eve. Melody Willis-Williams, the Vegas Weddings president, described this date as a "double whammy."

"Anytime you get these specialty dates, they're always hugely popular. But tie that in with New Year's Eve and it's a showstopper," said Melody via Fox News.

The specialty date that has the highest number of New Year's Eve weddings in Las Vegas was 07/07/07 (over 4,490 Americans got married in a single day). The second one was 11/11/11, the specialty date when 3,125 couples said "I do" to their husbands and wives.

The 12/31/23 is expected to break all these records, especially since the Vegas Weddings—a popular wedding reception venue in Las Vegas, Nevada—confirmed that it is already fully booked by midnight of Dec. 31.

The New York Post also reported that the Vegas Weddings' brown-brick chapel in downtown Las Vegas was fully booked as well.

Unlike other specialty dates that only repeat single-digit or two-digit numbers, 12/31/23 is quite different since it has the pattern 1-2-3-1-2-3.
According to angel number superstitions, the repetition of 1-2-3 is a positive thing. People who believe in angel numbers said that 1-2-3 brings union and harmony with others.

This can imply that if people get married on this date, their marriage will last for a lifetime and will have fewer conflicts. Other angel number believers also said that repeating 1-2-3 is also a sign that a person is on the right path.
