Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to discuss post-war plans for the Gaza Strip. As of writing, it looks like Netanyahu is only focusing on eliminating Hamas.
Ever since the 7-day ceasefire between the Israel Defense Forces and the Palestinian terrorist group ended on Dec. 1, Israel has been expanding its counteroffensives.
Despite calls from the U.S. and other allied countries, IDF is still bombarding the Gaza Strip; expanding their attacks to densely populated urban refugee camps in the central part of the city.
Because of this, security officials are now urging Netanyahu to discuss post-war plans for Gaza. Unfortunately, the prime minister rejected their requests.
Israeli PM Netanyahu Refuses to Discuss Post-War Plans for Gaza
According to The Guardian's latest report, directors of Mossad, the Shinbet, the IDF chief of staff, and the defense ministry requested Netanyahu's office to arrange post-war discussions for Gaza.
However, Israel's Channel 12 (Keshet 12)—a local news company—claimed that the prime minister rejected the requests of the security officials.
The Israeli network mentioned an unnamed security leader of Israel, who said that Netanyahu and his government should start making decisions inside and outside the Gaza Strip after the war.
"Time is running out and decisions need to be made already about how to act with regard to all the relevant actors inside and outside the Gaza Strip," explained the anonymous Israeli official.
He added that the Israeli government needs to start discussing post-war plans for Gaza since the United States is already asking for explanations.

Why Netanyahu Don't Want Post-War Gaza Plans
Rumors claimed that Benjamin Netanyahu is refusing post-war plan discussions for the Gaza Strip since he is protecting his current position as Israel's prime minister.
Experts said that once the Israel-Hamas war ended, his wartime unity government would be disbanded. They added that any solution involving Palestinian leaders, such as the Palestinian Authority of the West Bank, could threaten the stability of Netanyahu's far-right coalition government.
Since Netanyahu is showing no interest in making post-war plans for the Gaza Strip, many leaders accuse him of just wanting to exterminate all Palestinians.
One of these leaders is Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who claimed that Benjamin Netanyahu only wants to get rid of Palestinians in Gaza.
While the Israeli government refuses to talk about post-war Gaza plans, Politico reported that the Biden Administration officials are drafting their own after-war game plan for the Palestinian city.
The majority of their drafted post-war game plan involves allowing a "revamped" Palestinian Authority that could govern the Gaza Strip. Although this solution is still far from perfect, U.S. officials claim it is the best one for Palestinians.
