Jeffrey Epstein's infamous island will soon be rebranded into a hotel resort by a billionaire named Stephen Deckoff; the founder of Black Diamond Capital Management, a privately held alternative asset management company.
His decision to purchase the Little St. James and Great St. James comes as new court documents revealed the sex offender's associates were released publicly.
The question is, will you visit the new attraction site in the U.S. Virgin Islands? Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming rebranding of the controversial Pedophile Island.
Jeffrey Epstein's Island to Be Rebranded Into Hotel Resort
The Little Saint James is a small private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is located southeast of neighboring Great Saint James.
For those who are unaware, Little St. James Island was owned by the American financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was a convicted sex offender.
He owned this land from 1998 until 2019, which is the year he died. Because of his sexual abuse cases, the Little St. James was given the nicknames "Pedophile Island," "Island of Sin," and "Epstein Island."
However, this island got the interest of Stephen Deckoff, who purchased both of the Caribbean islands. According to NTNews, the Little Saint James and Great Saint James were originally listed for $184 million in 2021.
Officials promised that the proceeds would be used as compensation efforts for the sex abuse victims of Jeffrey Epstein. But, they failed to find a buyer, forcing them to reduce the price to $162 million in 2022.
But, Deckoff was able to lower the price further. After negotiations, the billionaire was able to purchase both of the islands for $88 million in May 2023.
Now, Stephen is planning to rebrand the Little Saint James into a hotel and resort, which could open as early as 2025, as reported by News.Com.AU.

Rebranding Epstein's Island
Stephen Deckoff confirmed that most parts of the Little Saint James will be rebranded. But, the billionaire clarified that Jeffrey Epstein's former residence will not be completely destroyed.
Instead of razing the sex offender's house, developers said that the residence would be converted into a glittering hotel.
"I've been proud to call the US Virgin Islands home for more than a decade and am tremendously pleased to be able to bring the area a world-class destination befitting its natural grace and beauty," said Deckoff back in May.
The decision of Deckoff to make Pedophile Island into a hotel resort is a controversial one since the land hosted Jeffrey Epstein's five buildings.
These include his library, primary luxury villa, cinema, bathhouse, and theater.
