Lea Michele Releases Second Tribute To Cory Monteith Titled 'If You Say So'

Lea Michele released a second tribute to Cory Monteith that this single has been titled "If You Say So".

Reportedly, the song title comprises of the last words Monteith said to Michele before his untimely death. If this isn't heart wrenching enough, the lyrics of the song are bound to make you reach out for a box of tissues.

"It's been seven whole days without your embrace, I wanna see your face, I've got some things to say. It's just a week ago, you said I love you girl. I said I love you more. And a breath, a pause, you said, if you say so," Michele sings in the chorus of the song.

Monteith died at the age of 31 in his Vancouver hotel room from a lethal combination of heroin and alcohol. The Glee cast acknowledged the painful loss in the touching tribute episode, "The Quarterback," which aired in October 2013.

Earlier this month, the actress released another single as a tribute to her deceased boyfriend. The song was titled "You're Mine."

"My next IG track #YOUREMINE (available tomorrow) is my favorite song on #LOUDER. It's so special to me & it's story is so close to my heart. (sic)," the actress tweeted after releasing the album.

She also posted a few other pictures containing lyrics of the songs with lines like "I told you all my dreams and fears / and you looked at me and your eyes filled with tears" and "And you said those three words I've been waiting for / you became a part of me."

Monteith passed away July 13 and was found in his hotel room. An autopsy revealed that the actor died of "mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol." At that time, a representative for Michele confirmed that the actress was grieving the loss with family and relatives.

Michele revealed that this album was very special to her, not only because it marks the beginning of her career as a solo singer but also because it tells the story of her life with Monteith and what she's being doing through after his death.

"I'd sit with Cory and we'd jot down tons of notes about things we wanted to change," Michele told Us Weekly of her recording process. "I was lucky to have such amazing love. This album is the story of my past two years."
