Justin Bieber fans can collectively breathe a sigh of relief after their idol managed to escape an overly-excited audience member who ran on stage during a concert in Abu Dhabi, sending Bieber's bodyguards.
"A man ran on stage during 'Believe' and tried to grab Justin and knocked the piano over," a source close to the 19-year-old pop star tells Us Weekly of the incident. "He was a fan. Security detained the young man. All was fine and Justin continued the show."
According to The National, the government-owned newspaper of Abu Dhabi, a audience member ran up on stage towards Bieber and managed to grab and hug the singer just before his security guards came rushing on stage, tackling the excited fan and even toppled over a grand piano in the process.
Justin was startled by the event and ran offstage. Not wanting to be a spoil-sport and disappoint his fans, once the zealous fan was taken offstage, Bieber came back on to the finish up the concert.
