U.S. President Joe Biden shares his sharpest criticism against Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip. He made his remark as he tries pushing for a hostage ceasefire in the Palestinian city.
Critics said that this is the sharpest criticism made by Joe Biden regarding the military operations of Israel in Gaza to date.
Joe Biden Offers Sharpest Criticism of Israel's Operations in Gaza
As U.S. President Joe Biden seeks a ceasefire to ensure the safety of hostages in the Gaza Strip, he decided to rebuke Israel's military campaign.
"I'm of the view, as you know, that the conduct of the response in the Gaza Strip has been over the top," said the American president via The Guardian.
Joe Biden added that he had been making efforts to encourage a hostage ceasefire between Israel and Hamas terrorists, as well as push a deal to normalize Saudi Arabia-Israel relations.
Aside from this, he also wants to increase humanitarian aid for Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip who are caught up in the Israel-Hamas war.
"I'm pushing very hard now to deal with this hostage ceasefire," said the U.S. president.
"There are a lot of innocent people who are starving, a lot of innocent people who are in trouble and dying, and it's gotta stop," added Joe Biden.
But, what does his latest criticism against the military operations of the Israel Defense Forces in Gaza?
According to CNN Politics' latest report, the latest criticism and assessment shared by the American leader regarding the Israeli military operations show that Biden's stance in the war is changing.
When Hamas terrorists conducted their deadly attack on October 7, 2023, the Biden Administration had embraced the efforts of Israel to defend its people.
Aside from this, Joe Biden also supports Israel's right to go after Hamas terrorists by officially declaring war against them. However, because IDF's military operations endanger the lives of innocent Palestinian civilians, numerous American officials are against its campaign.
Now, the U.S. president and his team are also becoming more and more irritated as Israel continues to reject a two-state solution in the Gaza Strip.
